About the Designs
Our designs, whether tables, flooring, or paint, are crafted from natural materials wherever possible. Variations in colour, texture, and wood grain, as well as fabric fibres, are natural characteristics.
For our paint products, colours may change over time due to sunlight exposure and moisture. Natural pigments can cause slight variations in colour between batches. When using multiple tins of the same colour, we recommend mixing them beforehand. For redecorating, it's best to repaint the entire area rather than spot repairs for a uniform finish.
General Terms
Definitions: Throughout these terms, we may refer to the items you've purchased as products, designs, pieces, or accessories.
Acceptance of Terms: By placing an order with Neptune by Kendrick Interiors, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with your purchase. All items are for personal use only and not for resale. We do not guarantee items purchased for resale.
Modifications: We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
Orders and Payment
Pricing: All prices are in GBP and include VAT unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Payment Methods: We accept major credit and debit cards in-store and BACS payments over the phone, but we do not accept American Express. Full payment is required at the time of purchase. For kitchens, a deposit is required, with full payment due three weeks before delivery. Late payments may incur fees.
Order Confirmation: For home deliveries, you will receive an order confirmation via email. Please review it carefully and contact us immediately if there are any discrepancies.
Despite our best efforts, pricing mistakes can happen. In-store, we will inform you of the correct price before you pay, and you can decide whether to proceed with the purchase.
Delayed Delivery Payment Options: If your in-store order won't be delivered for over eight weeks, you can choose to pay a 50% deposit, with the balance due 28 days before delivery.
Made-to-Order Upholstery or Bespoke Pieces: Full payment is required when placing the order due to the immediate start of production.
If you need to change your delivery date more than once within eight weeks of the scheduled date, a storage fee of £50 per week will be charged. If the dispatch date is more than 12 months after the order date, the cost will be adjusted to current prices.
Certain items like Pembroke shelving and larger Chawton furniture require in-store design and professional fitting. We will provide a quote valid for 28 days or until our next price review.
Delivery and Installation
Delivery: We offer purchases in-store, free delivery to the store for smaller items, and free delivery to your home for purchases over £150.
We offer two delivery services to your home:
White Glove Service: For furniture delivered to your room of choice, assembled, and packaging removed. We'll arrange a date and time with you.
England and Wales: Delivery within 5-10 working days (plus product availability time).
Scotland and Ireland: Delivery within 7-14 working days (plus product availability time).
Courier Delivery Service: For smaller items like accessories and lighting, delivery within 3-5 working days.
Mixed orders of larger furniture and smaller accessories will be dispatched separately, with only one White Glove delivery charge applied.
Installation: For certain products, we offer installation services. This will be arranged at the time of purchase.
Risk of Loss: Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery. Please inspect your items upon receipt and notify us of any damages within 48 hours.
Cancellations
Standard Products: Furniture, accessories, or home decorating materials can be canceled before dispatch.
Made to Order: Cancel within 7 days for a full refund. No changes or returns after this period.
Painted to Order: Cancel 28 days before delivery for a full refund. No changes or returns after this period.
Returns and Refunds
Standard Returns: You can return products within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. Items must be in original condition and packaging.
Non-Returnable Items: Customized products, ex-display items, and gift cards are non-returnable. Specific flooring designs (Abbotsbury, Chesil, Seaton, Branscombe, and Savernake) have unique return policies.
Refund Process: Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned items. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Our Guarantees
We guarantee all our designs for peace of mind. We strive for quality but provide guarantees just in case.
One-Year and Five-Year Guarantees:
Accessories and parasols: One year.
Furniture (excluding bulbs), Neptune manufactured sinks, and taps: Five years (excluding third-party suppliers).
Upholstered furniture: Fabric and cushion inners for one year, frame for five years (fabric fading due to sunlight not covered).
Timber designs: Manufacturing faults covered for five years. Natural movement and changes are expected.
Exclusions:
Self-repaired or altered pieces.
Accidental, weather-related, or neglect-induced damage.
Normal wear and tear.
Natural changes in timber, fabric, and paint.
Rust damage (care guide available).
Third-party appliances, sinks, and taps.
Items used outside the original purchase country or non-home settings.
Ex-display pieces and resold items.
For faulty items, we'll assess and work towards a solution. Proof of purchase is required. If repair is not possible, we may replace or refund the item.
Ex-Display Designs
Sold as seen: with potential knocks or scuffs.
Arrange your own delivery and collection.
Non-returnable or exchangeable: unless faulty and not covered by guarantees.
Design Services
Kitchen Ordering:
In-store design service costs £350 (deducted from kitchen price if purchased).
Requires signed terms, plan, and quote.
20% non-refundable deposit, 80% due 28 days before delivery.
Lifetime Guarantee for Kitchens:
Covers cabinet structure and hardware.
Does not cover self-installed kitchens, work surfaces (guaranteed by suppliers), or LED lights.
Home Design Service:
Non-refundable design fee: £350 for the first room, £250 for additional rooms.
Fee deducted from order total if proceeding with the design and with a minimum average spend of £7,000 per room.
Flooring:
Stone flooring orders placed in-store.
Free delivery by specialist partner, no specific time slot.
Check tiles before installation.
Returns and cancellations allowed if still in packaging and on the pallet.
Liability
Limitation of Liability: Neptune by Kendrick Interiors is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.
Force Majeure: Neptune by Kendrick Interiors is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or transportation issues.
Governing Law
Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
